1-Year-Old Child Fatally Stabbed In California Knife Attack A 1-year-old boy is dead and his father seriously injured following a knife attack at a California home early Friday morning.
According to the Ventura Police Department, the child’s father called 911 around 1:45 a.m. and requested assistance at a residence in the 400 block of Crocker Avenue.
Upon arrival at the scene, authorities found the deceased child and discovered the father, who has not yet been identified, had sustained stab wounds to his upper torso. The man was transported to a local hospital for emergency surgery, Ventura authorities said in a press release.
Investigators are trying to determine if the father’s injuries were self-inflicted, police said. KTLA news reported the dad is considered a possible suspect.
