Michael Keaton in talks to play fast food tycoon Ray Kroc The actor who recently won a Golden Globe for his role in "Birdman" is negotiating the role of Ray Kroc, the man who transformed McDonald's from a small family business to a global fast food giant, according to the Hollywood Reporter. After a relatively quiet period, Michael Keaton made a spectacular comeback in "Birdman," so it's no surprise that new projects are starting to roll in. The actor, who starred in Tim Burton's "Beetlejuice" and "Batman" trilogy in the late 80s and early 90s, has already joined the King Kong origin story "Kong: Skull Island" and is now in talks to headline "The Founder" as Ray Kroc. As announced in December, "The Founder" will be helmed by John Lee Hancock ("Saving Mr. Banks") and written by Robert Siegel ("The Wrestler").
