Eagle Dives From The World's Tallest Building, Captures Stunning Bird's Eye View On Camera How’s this for a bird’s eye view?

In this video, uploaded on March 14 by the BBC, watch as an eagle named Darshan takes flight from the top of the world’s tallest building, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, with a camera strapped to its back.

The eagle, which was trained by falconer Jacques-Olivier Travers in France, descended about 2,700 feet as it captured stunning views of the city before finally landing near a fountain at the building’s base.

Organized by Freedom Conservation to raise awareness for endangered birds of prey, the eagle’s journey is said to have been the “highest-ever recorded bird flight from a man-made structure,” per the BBC.

"We know that people love these types of videos. It's a great way for us to attract the public's attention to endangered animals and to the fact that humans need to learn how to share their space with these animals," Freedom Conservation director Ronald Menzel told NBC News.
